- Some abiotic factors that a plant needs to survive are examples like water, sunlight, oxygen, soil, and temperature. Some biotic factors may be examples of predation, disease, competition, parasitism, consumption, and symbiosis.
- Plants are competing against its own species, and against other types of plants and/ or even animals.
- Usually in the "wild" winners are the ones who survive and ready to beat another opponent who stands in their way for survival. The difference between a winner and a loser is life or death. In some situations the 2 opponents may give up at the same time or maybe even call a ''truce".
- One other interaction that plants may have what is called, complementary. For example, "if the component species are able to exploit to supply of growth factors in different ways (temporal or spatial) or if one species is able to help the other in supply of factor (like legumes supplying part of N fixed by symbiosis to non-legumes), it is complementary interaction or interference. This also referred to as Annidations."
- The evidence shows that the plant is more of a primary succesion because its the one who gives food.

- The changes Iv'e seen before I planted the plant is big. I saw the expansion of the leaves stretching out, holes that I presume that has been done by the butterflies and noticed the bigger they grow they will need more water, sunlight, and, shade.
- Plants are involved in the movement of the water cycle by the moisture that's is carried through plants from roots to small pores on the underside of leaves. Which can also be where it changes to vapor and is released to it's atmosphere.
- The plant is involved in the carbon cycle used as material to then be available as fossil fuel in the future for combustion. I observed that the role in our plants relate to the carbon cycle by us giving carbon dioxide which then becomes a part of the plant. Plants that die and are buried may turn into fossil fuels made of carbon like coal and oil over millions of years.
- When nitrogen is absorbed by the soil, bacteria can help it change states so it can be absorbed by plants. In the nitrogen cycle I observed that the bacteria can help the plant grow which then relates to the carbon cycle, and the water cycle.

For our ESLP project Alaysia and I created a mural. It didn't take as long as we thought actually it only took about two days. For the mural we we used a piece of recycled wood. For the painting itself we painted a big earth as the center piece and surrounded it by flowers. The meaning of our mural is to show how the earth is a beautiful place and we have to keep it that way. But you can also interpret what you it means to you by looking at it.
This picture was when we first started it. At the beginning we were going to have a phrase on it but then we changed our minds and just ended up leaving it blank. We came up with the design first and then drew it on a piece of paper. All the paints we used were acrylics. The mural actually turned out better than we expected and it took a lot less time than we thought it would.
